Take That Fans Branded 'Worse Than Football Hooligans'

Take That's fans have been branded worse than 'football hooligans' after drunken brawls at recent shows.

Over 100 women were admitted to hospital for alcohol poisoning while other fans suffered broken wrists and sprained ankles following drunken brawls, reports The Sun.

A steward at the City of Manchester stadium told the newspaper: ''I've worked at lots of concerts and some of the drunkenness here was unbelievable. Some women were slumped in their seats barely able to walk. It was way worse than a football game."

Other incidents surrounding the eight Manchester shows reportedly included five public order offences, three assaults, several thefts - and one sexual assault.
