Cheryl Cole will reunite with Girls Aloud next year following her sacking from The X Factor USA.
It had been reported that Cole would reprise her role on the UK edition of The X Factor, but she will not be part of the current series.
Now judge Louis Walsh has revealed that he has spoken to Cole and said she was looking forward to getting back together with Girls Aloud, reports the Evening Standard.
“"I've been on the phone to Cheryl all day, honestly I can show you texts, she's fine,” he said. “She's getting back with Girls Aloud in 2012 and they're going to tour."
In April, Girls Aloud's manager confirmed that the group would be reuniting in 2012 to coincide with their 10th anniversary.
