Amy Winehouse’s third album has been delayed after the singer admitted herself into rehab, it’s been reported.
The singer’s record label Island was apparently close to confirming the release date for the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Back To Black’ before she sought treatment last week.
A source told The People: "She has finally finished the album and it's ready to go. They were just about to finalise a release date and then this happened.
“She is back in rehab for the foreseeable future so it is just a question of waiting and seeing now. But there is no way they can give a specific release date until they know when she is likely to be out."
Winehouse is scheduled to play a series of European festival dates this summer.
Last week, her spokesman told Gigwise she was seeking treatment in order to be fit for the performances.
