Rihanna snubbed Justin Bieber at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, it's been reported.
The 17-year-old star apparently tried to speak to Rihanna on several occasions but was sent away by her security.
“'Justin thinks Rihanna is the most beautiful woman and supremely talented. He is in awe of her,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
“Justin is just a red-blooded teenager, he can't help acting like a love-sick puppy dog when he's around her.”
Bieber attended the ceremony with girlfriend Selena Gomez and has previously been described as a close friend of Rihanna.
