The Killers' Ronnie Vannucci Announces Solo Album 'Big Talk'

The Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci has announced details of his debut solo album with new band Big Talk.

The album, also called 'Big Talk', will be released on July 11 and is preceded by the single 'Getaways' on May 10.

'Big Talk' was recorded at The Killers’ Battle Born studios in Las Vegas between November 2010 and January 2011 with producer Joe Chicarelli. It was mixed at London’s Assault & Battery with Alan Moulder.

Vanncci said: “I needed to do this. It's such a departure from what I'm used to, but now, having done it, it feels like the right thing to do. It all feels very natural. I can't sit on a couch very long.”

Vannucci will perform the album this summer along with his band and friend Taylor Milne.
