Bryan Ferry has been released from hospital after undergoing a series of routine tests, his spokesperson has confirmed.
The Roxy Music star, 65, was admitted on Tuesday (April 5) after complaining of feeling unwell and was feared to be "seriously ill".
He underwent routine tests during a 24-hour stay, reports BBC News. Initial reports claimed the singer had suffered a heart attack.
Ferry was due to appear at the SportAccord opening ceremony - a London 2012 event - last night but pulled out due to his ill health.
He is scheduled to embark on a series of gigs this summer in support of his 2010 solo album 'Olympia'.
