Juliette Lewis has been injured in a hit and run crash in Burbank, California.
The singer and actress was in the back seat of a vehicle that was struck when the driver of another vehicle drove through a red light and into Lewis' car.
The 37-year-old sustained head, back and neck injuries and was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
Police are looking for the driver of the other vehicle and have said the individual will be arrested on suspicion of hit and run, reports BBC News.
Lewis was on the way home from promoting her new movie Conviction when the incident occurred.
She released her last musical effort, 'Terra Incognita', in 2009.
