Fans of Lady Gaga have launched an online petition calling for the singer to scrap a gig in Arizona over the state's controversial new immigration law.
The singer is due to perform at US Airways Center in Phoenix on July 31 as part of her Monster Ball tour.
But Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender groups (LGBTQ) want Lady Gaga to pull out of the concert due to the recently passed SB 1070 regulation.
The policy allows police to challenge people they suspect of being an illegal immigrant.
In an open letter, the LGBTQ said: “As an icon and beloved artist, please join us in boycotting Arizona and turn your trip into an opportunity to meet your little monsters in the Migrant LGBTQ.munity so that you can speak out against the hateful laws and be a champion for this human rights cause."
Other acts including Rage Against The Machine and Kanye West have vowed to boycott to state over the new law.
The North American leg of Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour runs until September.
