We’re only just over six months into the 2010, but already this year has seen a number of albums strong enough to tickle our taste buds.
So Gigwise thought it was about time we celebrated them by publishing our Best Albums Of 2010…So Far countdown. Our special round-up includes LPs from both established acts - including Arcade Fire, The National and Gil Scot-Heron - as well as some stunning debut albums from the likes of The Drums and Janelle Monae.
So far this year there have also been some great comebacks from Foals and Mystery Jets, as well as unexpected solo debuts.
As well as the cover of each album, we’ve included a sound byte about each record. Let us know your favourite album of the year so far by filling out the comment form below.
