Gorillaz headlined the first night of the Glastonbury festival on Friday (June 25) with a set that divided fans.
The band were joined by a host of special guests, including Snoop Dogg and Loud Reed, during their performance on the Pyramid Stage.
The group, fronted Damon Albarn, were invited to perform after U2 were forced to pull out due to injury.
But their set left many fans at Worthy Farm unimpressed, with one fans telling Gigwise that they “bombed” on stage.
It was only the latter songs in Gorillaz set, includng 2001's ‘Clint Eastwood’, that proved universally popular.
The set made Albarn the first person ever to headline Glastonbury two years running, after he performed with Blur last year.
Earlier in the evening, thousands of fans enjoyed a secret performance from Radiohead, which Gigwise had exclusively revealed earlier in the day.
Gigwise is coming live from the festival all weekend, so keep checking www.gigwise.com for the latest news, photos and interviews.
