Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl is to celebrate the life of Led Zeppelin’s late drummer John Bonham on BBC 6 Music.
The hour-long special will tell Bonham’s life story from his childhood in Redditch to his untimely death at the age of 32.
The documentary includes exclusive interviews with Bonham’s former bandmates Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
Narrated by Grohl, the former drummer of Nirvana, it also features tributes from his family and friends.
The John Bonham Story will air on digital radio station BBC 6 Music from 3pm on Monday (May 31).
