Foo Fighters Announce Massive 2011 UK Gigs

Foo Fighters have announced details of two huge outdoor gigs in the UK next summer.

The band will play Milton Keynes Bowl on July 2 and 3 in support of their as-yet-untitled new album.

The opening show will feature support from Biffy Clyro, Death Cab For Cutie and Tame Impala.

Biffy Clyro, Jimmy Eat World and Hot Rats will support the group at the second date.

Foo Fighters are currently halfway through recording their follow-up to 2007's 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' with producer Butch Vig.

Tickets go on sale on November 5 at 9am. For more details and to buy Foo Fighters tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.

    • My sister tried to get tickets for this but they sold out in the blink of an eye. She was not best pleased but not entirely surprised, it was always going to be a sellout. I have heard rumours that they're going to add more venues, which would be good, as I'm guessing my sister wasn't the only one who missed out on the Milton Keynes gig.

    • I was of the same thinking - Pre-Sale tickets were available through O2 so they must be a main sponsor of the gig/s. If they are, can you really see the Foos not playing, at least, the O2 Arena?!
