Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has claimed he taught Slash how to play the instrument.
Wood made the revealed during his new radio show on Absolute Classic Rock.
“Slash, I remember him as a kid spying on me when I was playing guitar, and I'd teach him little licks,” he said.
But Wood went on the admit that it was the former Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist who was now inspiring him.
“He's a great guy to play with, and he's great at interacting, a good weaver, you know,” Wood said.
“We can weave, like me and Bobby Womack do, and me and Keith Richards do.
Wood, whose radio shows airs every Friday, also revealed that Slash is set to make a guest appearance on his forthcoming solo album.
