Liam Gallagher has taken a swipe at U2 saying he's never met a fan of the Irish band or anyone who owns their records.
In fact, he jokingly accused Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam of being the only people who buy U2 records in order to get people into their gigs.
“I have never seen a U2 fan, not ever. I have never seen anyone with a U2 shirt or been around someone’s house that has a ****ing U2 record,” he quipped to journalist Chris Sullivan.
“ I mean, where do their fans ****ing come from?” the former Oasis man continued. “Where are they? I reckon they buy them.
“With all the money they’ve made, they just bought a load of people and every time they do a gig they get a big old shovel and pile them into their gigs to make them look good.”

this writes one of those long time U2 Fans. I personally know at least another 50 by name.
Yet, I don't know you and honestly I wouldn't want to, so therefore your chances to meet a U2-Fan have been become even less likely.
On the other hand, your dearest brother seems to be a fan since he's going to their gigs and calls Bono a friend.
- Comedy. Liam obviously wants some publicity for his new solo music/tour so slacks off U2 to get it.. Pure Oasis bros style of grabbing attention and publicity.. ie, Free publicity is the best publicity.. Keep your name in the press.
