Songs by the late Jeff Buckley have been licensed to be used in an new musical adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.
The production, entitled The Last Goodbye, is due to arrive on stage during the 2010-2011 season.
It fuses tracks such as 'Eternal Life' and 'Lover, You Should've Come Over' with Shakespeare's original dialogue.
Trade publication Variety reports that Michael Kimmel will direct the production, which has been given full backing by Buckley's mother.
Mary Guibert has controlled her son's estate since his death in 1997 at the age of 30.
