Interpol will support U2 on the upcoming US leg of their 360 degree world tour.
The New York band, who are currently recording a new album, will play six gigs, starting in Minneapolis on June 27.
Other dates include Chicago (July 6), Miami (9) and Philadelphia (12).
Lenny Kravitiz and The Fray are also set to provide support on the jaunt, which will continue into Europe in August.
U2's 360 degree tour, which features a huge “claw” structure, was recently crowned the best stage show of 2009.
