Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' Earns More Than $200million At Box Office

The Michael Jackson 'This Is It' documentary has grossed more than $200million worldwide.

The film, which was released last month, has grossed the majority of its earnings ($61million) at the US box office.

To date, This Is It has made £8.5million in the UK, where it is currently number two on the box office chart.

The movie, which includes footage of Jackson rehearsing for his ill-fated comeback gigs, was originally due to run for a limited two-week period.

But that has been extended by production company Sony Pictures in order to meet demand.

It will now be shown in the US through the Thanksgiving weekend and in the UK until the end of November.

Jackson died on June 25 in Los Angeles at the age of 50.
