Empire Of The Sun's Nick Littlemore has been missing in action for five months, band mate Luke Steele has revealed.
29-year-old Steele, who is also the singer of The Sleepy Jackson, says he will be performing upcoming shows in the duo's native Australia solo.
Speaking to Western Australia Today, Steele said: "He disappeared about five months ago and I haven't really heard from him.
"Last I heard he's in Canada and then he's in Vegas. But as my Dad always says, 'you've got to keep the show on the road'."
Steele will be backed by Adelaide band The Swiss for Empire of the Sun's performances at the Parklife Music Festival which tours Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
Asked whether Littlemore was still a member of the band, Steele said: "I really don't know, hey, he's just left me with the baby."
