Duffy has signed a six-figure advertising deal to promote Diet Coke, according to reports.
The singer has apparently been chosen to distance the brand's long association with “stick-thin models and chiselled hunks”.
A spokesperson for the company told the Sun newspaper that they were a fan of her “raw and edgy character”.
“We’re delighted Duffy’s on board. She’s ideal to reach our target audience in the teen and twenties age ranges,” a source added.
The reported deal caps a phenomenal year for the singer, who topped the UK charts with her debut album 'Rockferry'.
