Duffy’s debut album ‘Rockferry’ was the biggest-selling album of 2008 in the UK.
The album, released in March, sold 1.685million copies, the Official Charts Company said.
Take That’s ‘The Circus’ was the second biggest-selling album of the year.
Despite only being released four weeks ago the album has already sold 1.446million copies.
Meanwhile, the latest albums from Kings of Leon, Leona Lewis and Coldplay also all sold over a million copies.
As previously reported on Gigwise, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke claimed the biggest-selling album of 2008.
