Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital on Saturday (October 25th) amid fresh fears over the singer's health, according to reports.
Winehouse was taken to the London Clinic suffering from a suspected chest infection after falling ill at her home in North London.
In June, Doctors treated the singer for traces of the lung disease emphysema and warned that her illness would accelerate unless she gave up smoking.
Winehouse's spokesperson told the Mirror newspaper that Winehouse was being “check out” by doctors.
He denied initial tabloid reports which suggested the singer had begun another course of rehab.
Last summer, Winehouse' father, Mitch, warned of the possible severity of his daughter's lung problems.
"The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her," Mr Winehouse said.
"There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse is understood to have conducted a rare interview with a French journalist via her door intercom last week.
It was the first time the star had spoken to the media since September.
