Radiohead have issued eco-friendly guidelines for their fans ahead of their upcoming European tour.
Where possible, fans are encouraged to consider public transport or increased car sharing when travelling to the band’s shows.
The band’s advice follows a report from Best Foot Forward, who calculated the carbon impact of Radiohead’s two US tours in 2003.
The report revealed that fan travel to and from the shows made the greatest impact on the CO2 generation of the tour.
To help fans find the best way of travelling to the venue, the band have launched a website which allows fans to calculate their journey with an online calculator.
Tickets for the band’s UK tour are still on sale and available through Gigwise by clicking the Buy Tickets link.
Alternatively, you can call our ticket hotline on 0871 230 1098 for more information.
Radiohead’s tour dates are:
Dublin, Malahide Castle - June 6/7
London, Victoria Park – 24/25
Glasgow, Green – 27
Manchester, LCCC - 29
