Lily Allen will not be playing at this years Isle Of Wight Festival, according to festival organiser John Giddings.
Giddings said that Allen’s representatives had told him that she won’t have delivered her second record by the time the event takes place in June.
“I think the poor girl has got a few problems. Unfortunately England, although it produces good girl singer/songwriters, they don't seem to be capable of running the course,” Giddings told eFestivals.
“I find it very disappointing. These artists don't seem to have a responsibility to their audience.”
He added: "It's a good job she (Allen) pulled out now and not the day before. I wish her the best I hope she sorts herself out.”
Tickets for this year’s festival, which takes place from June 13th-15th, have already sold out.
