Eminem - 'When I'm Gone' (Aftermath/Interscope) Released 19/12/05

Is this it the end of Eminem? Will the oh-so suggestively titled �When I�m Gone� be the final single from his �swansong� best of album �Curtain Call�? In all honesty, we�re pretty sure it�s just a cynical marketing ploy to grab the media attention for the greatest hits collection. Sadly, despite being a decent enough effort that in its own right would be okay, �When I�m Gone� is very much Eminem by numbers watered down  � the trademark, dextrous rap; the same pained, introspective lyrics; the meandering pace; the tough bassline� really we�ve heard it all before thank you very much Mr Mathers. Still, guaranteed to get the album the much-needed publicity it needs so badly.
