The jacket Michael Jackson wore in the video for 'Thriller' has sold for $1.8million at an auction in California.
Widely regarded as one of the most recognisable pieces of music memorabilia, the red jacket was bought by a Texas commodities trader.
He said he planned to use it to help raise money for children's charities.
The jacket went under the hammer at Julien's Auction room in Beverly Hills, and formed part of a two-day sale of music memorabilia.
