Superman IV: The Quest For Peace (1987) - Superman III was bad enough, apart from that really cool bit where the old lady turns into a walking computer. Superman IV though proved to be the final nail in the coffin for Christopher Reeves' Clark Kent. Original director Richard Donner wanted none of it, the producers disowned it even before it got made, and Superman disappeared from the cinema for nineteen years.
