Cheryl Cole: My Friendship With Simon Cowell Is Over

Cheryl Cole has ended her friendship with Simon Cowell, it's been reported.

The music mogul was integral in securing the Girls Aloud star's judging position on The X Factor USA, but she has apparently severed ties with him after being sacked from the programme.

Cole was also said to have been left upset after Cowell said she had been “nervous” and uncomfortable” during her brief appearances on the show.

According to The Sun, Cole has told friends: "If he thinks we are going to be friends he can forget it."

A source added: "Cheryl trusted him implicitly and she doesn't do that with many people. He made a mockery of their friendship so now it's dead in the water."

Cole has been replaced as a judge by Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger.
