We all have those humiliating photos of our younger days. You know, the one with the dodgy haircut, the crappy shellsuit, the braces and/or the spotty face. Photos of our youth are often the bane of our existence, and belong banished to the past. Well, the same goes for bands too.
Yes, even rockstars have those old shots they'd rather forget - where the straggly youngster seems a million miles from the stadium-tredding rock god they've become. Still, it goes to show that there's hope for us all.
So, from a blonde and demure Lana Del Rey, to a spotty Metallica, a white-jeaned Manics and a rather confused looking Muse, check out these rather embarrassing photos of bands in their younger days.
No, this isn't a L'Oreal advert - it's a pre-fame Lady Gaga in the mid-00s, because she's worth it.

We're not sure what the treatment for this early Green Day photoshoot was, but we can only imagine it involved a lot of weed.
