50 Cent has suggested that he hopes to support Eminem at his upcoming shows at Wembley Stadium this summer.

Eminem will play two shows at the iconic venue this July, with Odd Future announced already announced as a support act.

However, in a new interview with Gigwise, 50 Cent opened up about his ambitions to get in on the action.

When asked if he'll be returning to the UK to promote his new album Animal Ambition, 50 Cent replied: "Yeah, I'd like to soon. I think Em is going to be doing something at Wembley. I'll see what's going on and see if I can get in on that."

Speaking out about his friend and collaborator Eminem, 50 Cent continued: "Em is so special to our culture and no one really gives him the credit for it. When they cast a film, they find people who are representations of the audience watching, so when you understand who's actually consuming hip-hop culture, it's not the guy who's in my neighbourhood, it's Little America and way beyond that too. They weren't sure who they actually liked, but when you asked them if they liked hip-hop, they would all say Eminem."

Animal Ambition by 50 Cent is out now, with follow-up Street King Immortal due in September 2014.

Below: Five things we want to see at Eminem's Wembley Stadium show

  • Tributes paid to his early days: Eminem is back on the top of his game, but expect to see and hear flashbacks to his early days and we are more than hoping he will terrorise the Wembley Audience with this, now iconic outfit. Do it for the fans, Marshall.

  • Big hits: Eminem released his 2013 album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 to critical acclaim, but this gig won't simply be an opportunity to flog the new record, expect to hear all your favourite Eminem hits, such as 'My Name Is', 'Stan', 'Kill You' and 'Guilty Conscience' and many, many more.

  • There will be BIG production: Let's be honest Eminem isn't short of cash and the boy knows how to stage a live show. His latest shows have included all kinds of ear and eye popping fun, including massive LED screens, pyrotechnics, a huge band and fingers crossed a costume change or two. Expect him to pull out every stop for his London show.

  • Danny Brown: The unpredictable, outrageous rapper will be bringing his own, gap-tooted brand of hip hop to Wembley, as the show's second support act.

  • Odd Future: Eminem is not slacking when it comes to his support bands, bringing one of the most talked-about, controversial and explosive hip hop collectives with him to London. Odd Future, and namely Tyler The Creator are sure to cause absolute mayhem.

  • Secret, surprise guests: Eminem is known for his collaborations as much he is his own solo mega-hits, so a couple of surprise guests wouldn't be out of the question. He recently premiered a new track with Busta Rhymes, will tour America with Rihanna and 50 Cent has expressed interest.
