Arctic Monkeys have cracked the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time ever, with the track 'Do I Wanna Know?'

'Do I Wanna Know?', taken from the band's smash album AM, has hit the number 99 spot, shifting 160,000 units to date. It hit a new sales peak in the States last week. Amazingly, Alex Turner and co have failed to score a hit on the US countdown until now, although four of their albums have charted on the Billboard 200.

US radio support for the Sheffield stars is stronger than ever, and 'Do I Wanna Know?' is currently sitting at No.6 on the Billboard Rock airplay chart and No.3 on the Alternative Songs chart.

AM is the band's highest charting record yet in the US, debuting at number 6 on its release in September. The four piece have been touring across North America throughout the latter half of 2013, and continue to do so until next year when they'll play their last show in Minneapolis on February 14.
