Jimmy Kimmel claimed he recieved a "very angry phone call" from Kanye West before the rapper slammed the comedian in a series of furious tweets about his already infamous parody of the rapper. Watch Kimmel discussing the sketch above.

Kanye appeared in an interview with Lowe on BBC Radio One and online earlier this week, and made headlines due to Yeezy's bold and bizarre claims such as being 'the No.1 rockstar', aiming to form 'the world's first trillion dollar company' and his 'Truman Show boat hitting the wall'. In response to West's bizarre rantings, US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel parodied the interview by recreating it with child actors.

On last night's edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel addressed the very public spat in his typical light-hearted way, saying: “He told me I had two choices –  number one, apologise publicly. And that was really the only choice. He also said 'Your life is going to be much better if you apologise'."

The comedian's comments came hours after West went into a Twitter meltdown over Kimmel's spoof video of the rapper's infamous interview with Zane Lowe that aired earlier this week. The US talk show host responded by parodying it using child actors and it seems West didn't find it very amusing.

The eccentric rapper then slammed Kimmel in a string of furious Tweets, calling the comedian a "manipulative media mutherf*cker".

Kimmel doesn't seem to have taken the comments to heart, however. “Finally, I’m in a rap feud… I always wanted to be in a rap feud," the comedian quipped.
