Rihanna has scored her sixth platinum album in America after selling 1million copies of her album 'Unapologetic' in the US.

The 'Diamonds' singer will surely be pleased, as it means that six of her seven LPs have now sold a million or more copies. The album also holds the top 5 single 'Stay', featuring Mikky Ekko.

Good Girl Gone Bad, which featured the universal smash hit 'Umbrella', remains her biggest seller to date with 2.8 million sold.

Despite the fact that Ri Ri is still in the midst of her Girl Gone Bad tour, she is said to be working on new material with Darkchild and US rapper Wale.
