‘Have It All’ and ‘Come Back’ demos from the Foo Fighters 2002 album 'One By One' have emerged online. Listen to the demos below.
The tracks are taken from the recording process of the band's most troubled release, which the band have since said was one of their worst recordings, with Grohl admitting there were only four good tracks on the record.
Talking in a Spin interview in 2002, frontman Dave Grohl admitted that the band wasn’t ready to record an album "We basically made what Taylor called 'the million-dollar demos”.
The demos lack the polish the albums finished tracks but still sound pretty spectacular. The demos are proof that the Foo Fighters can produce great music under a lot of pressure and argumentative relationships between the band members.
