Example has said that his new album is shaping up to be a rock epic, with Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam cited as major influences.
Despite making his name as a rapper and dance star, Example has revealed that his latest music has a much harder edge and was inspired by his live performances.
"It's going to be a rock album but produced electronically - every track's got huge guitar riffs. I'm pretty much singing and trying to do impressions of Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters," he told Capital FM.
Example previously described his new music as sounding like 'The Strokes as produced by Skrillex'.
The new album is likely to be released in October/ November.
