Former White Stripes frontman Jack White is on course to score an international chart double as his 'Blunderbuss' album is set to top the charts in both America and the UK this week.
Already No.1 in the UK midweek charts, Jack is set to topple Adele from the UK top spot in this week's new chart. He is also predicted to sell over 100,000 copies of 'Blunderbuss' in America this week, securing his status as a solo star - as well as one of rock's leading frontmen.
This would be White's first US No.1 on the Billboard album chart, having never topped the American charts with either White Stripes or The Raconteurs.
If Jack White does score a US No.1, it will have been a week of firsts for the 'Sixtine Saltines' singer, having performed his first ever solo UK gig on Monday.
