Noel Gallagher has revealed he is a big fan of watching Australian news channels because they reminds him of vintage British comedy series, Monty Python.
The High Flying Birds star, who is currently on a world tour, tells the Daily Star newspaper that while he was disappointed at the lack of kangaroos and men wearing corked hats, Australian news channels made him fall for the country.
"I love being down in Oz. I've never seen one kangaroo, not one," Gallagher tells the tabloid. "And there's none of those fellas walking around with corks on the end of cowboy hats. But what's great about it is they've got slightly different chocolate bars to what we have in the UK. It's brilliant.
"And their news is crazy. It's like watching Monty Python."
Noel recently revealed how he was stopped by security at the Coachella festival in the US after security discovered his stash of prescription sleeping tablets.
