Graham Goxon has said that he named his new album 'A&E' after becoming increasingly aware of the rise in heavy drug use amongst teenagers in Britian.
The Blur guitarist and solo star in his own right releases the new record next week (April 2) and spoke to the Daily Star about his realisation that people are getting into illegal activities at an even younger age than he could have comprehended.
“I’d been watching TV and it was a disturbing revelation about young people and how they get into stuff a lot earlier than my generation," he said.
Adding: “Programmes like Skins exaggerate it, but there are kids doing stuff that I’m like: ‘That would never have entered my head when I was 18.’”
Meanwhile, Coxon's Blur bandmate Damon Albarn has said that he finds Alex James friendship with PM David Cameron 'grating'.
