Cheryl Cole Joins Twitter

Cheryl Cole has become the latest music star to join Twitter.

The Girls Aloud star and former X Factor judge posted her first message on the micro-blogging website today (August 30).

Cole wrote: “It's me CC! WHERE MY SOLDIERS AT.......?!!! I can't believe what my fingers are doing but yes I'm tweeting :-s so here goes...X”

Until now, the singer had not used Twitter, although her management company had often used its own account to respond to speculation about her private life.

Cole, who was sacked as a judge on The X Factor USA earlier this year, is currently filming for her debut movie What To Expect When You’re Expecting.
