Jarvis Cocker has anmnounced that he will release a lyric book in October.
The Pulp frontman will release the book, entitled 'Mother, Brother, Lover', in October which will include a collection of lyrics from the band's back-catalogue.
Speaking about his writing style in an interview with publisher Faber, Cocker said: "My breakthrough came when I stopped trying to be profound and started writing about normal things. That was precipitated by an accident where I ended up falling out of a window and being in hospital for about a month. I really did come down to earth."
He also added that he felt he should publish the lyrics after the band reformed earlier this year.
The Sheffield band will top the bill at this weekend's Wireless festival in Hyde Park on July 3. For more details and to buy Wireless Festival tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
