Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has received an honorary degree from the University of the Arts London.
The singer wore traditional graduation attire as he joined other students at a ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall today (July 20).
Cocker studied fine art and film at Central Saint Martins, which he used as subject matter in Pulp's 1995 hit 'Common People'.
With the line: "She came from Greece she had a thirst for knowledge, she studied sculpture at Saint Martins College."
