David Guetta has revealed that he has not been involved with the production on U2's new album, despite previous claims that he was.
Earlier this year, the French producer said he was “honoured” to be chosen by singer Bono to work with the band.
But in a new interview, Guetta revealed that after having an initial meeting the pair have not spoken since.
"We actually met with Bono and we spoke about it. He announced it in some of his interviews so I started to announce it, too, because he spoke about it, and then we never spoke again,” he told Billboard.
“So it might happen one day - I would love to - but he kind of disappeared.”
Meanwhile, Guetta also denied that he was working Britney Spears or Madonna on their new material.
