Lily Allen has said she was being sarcastic when she said she was “outraged” not to to receive an invite to the Royal Wedding.
The singer made the comment as a joke on Twitter, but many news outlets thought she was being serious.
In a message on the social-networking website today (April 26), Allen said: “It was pretty obvious that I was being sarcastic about not being invited to the royal wedding, right?”
But in another message, she later joked: “I'm just worried that Clarence House will now be trying to shuffle things round when they must have so much on their plates.”
Guests at the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday (April 29) include Sir Elton John, Joss Stone, and David and Victoria Beckham.
