Adele has topped the UK album chart for a seventh week with ‘21’.
The London singer’s second album sold another 160,000 copies last week, more than twice the number of its nearest rival.
Elbow’s fifth album ‘build a rocket boys!’ charted at number two, earning the band their best album chart position to date.
R.E.M were a new entry at number five with ‘Collapse Into Now’, while Noah & The Whale’s ‘Last Night On Earth’ went straight in at number eight.
Avril Lavigne debuted at number nine with ‘Goodbye Lullaby’, according to the Official Charts Company.
Meanwhile, on the singles countdown, Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ remained at number one for a fourth week.
Her single ‘Rolling In The Deep’ is also at number nine, while Wiz Khalifa’s debut single ‘Black And Yellow’ went straight in at number five.
