Lady Gaga's 'The Fame' has become the most successful downloaded album of all time.
The singer's debut, released in 2008, yesterday saw its download sales pass the 300,000 mark, according to the Official Charts Company.
'The Fame' is the only album to have sold more than 250,000 copies online, with Kings of Leon's 'Only By The Night' and Florence and the Machine's 'Lungs' close behind.
''In setting this latest landmark, Lady Gaga has further cemented her position in the annals of pop music history,'' said Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot.
The video for Lady Gaga's new single 'Born This Way' was given its world premiere yesterday (February 28).
