Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has said the band will “definitely” release a new album by 2013.
The singer said the group, whose last album 'The Resistance', came out in 2009, were planning to relocate to London for the follow-up.
"We've actually never made a full album here, it'll be nice to all be based in the same place, we can go out and socialise," he told BBC 6 Music.
"It also means we can make the album over a longer period of time without having to pressurise it into a three week studio session."
Speaking of the release date, Bellamy, who is set to become a father with girlfriend Kate Hudson, added: "I'd like 2012 if possible but 2013 definitely.”
He recently joked that the album would be more child-friendly.
