Elton John appears to have suggested that he is in line to be one of the first to receive the new iPad 2.
The singer has said that he intends to get an iPad 2 in April so he can get in touch with his new son Zachery whilst he is away, Rolling Stone reports.
The new iPad is set to include video cameras that will enable users to video chat. Apple has yet to announce an official release date for the iPad 2.
Meanwhile, Sir Elton John has launched an attack against British pop music, singling out the likes of Cheryl Cole and The Saturdays.
