Noel Gallagher and Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno pulled their own teams as they did the FA Cup draw on Sunday (November 28).
The pair selected the 64 teams for the third round of the competition at Wembley Stadium in London.
After Pizzorno drew his favourite team Leicester City, long-time Manchester City fan and former Oasis star Gallagher pulled out his club.
The pair hugged, and Gallagher said: "That's outrageous."
Fans following the draw live on Twitter also expressed surprise over the tie, with StephenSloan10 writing: “What are the chances!!!”
Other standout ties included Manchester United vs Liverpool. The matches will be played over the weekend of January 8-9 2011.
