Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has appeared in court charged with cocaine possession.
The singer attended Thames Magistrates' Court alongside friends, Peter Wolfe and Alan Wass, who also faced drug charges.
The charges followed an inquiry into the death of 27-year-old filmmaker Robin Whitehead. The daughter of Ecologist Magazine's founder Teddy Goldsmith died while making a documentary about Doherty.
The singer spoke in court only to confirm his name and address, reports the Press Association.
All three men are expected to deny the charges. The case was adjourned for a committal hearing on January 14.
