Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds have announced that the band will release a new album sometime in 2011.
The new album will be the follow-up to 2008's 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!', but is said to be far from finished.
''There will be a new Bad Seeds record next year. I've got to write one, I haven't written anything yet, but that's not how I go about things anyway,'' frontman Nick Cave told SpinnerMusic.
He added: ''I have the starting date for the next record and that's when I go into the office and start it. I'm not doing that until I've finished the Grinderman tour, which is amazing. The band is something else.''
Meanwhile, Nick Cave is currently finishing off the American leg of the Grinderman tour.
