Arcade Fire have released a pioneering video with Google for their song 'We Used To Wait'.
The video allows viewers to type in the address of their childhood home and see Google Street View images of the area incorporated into the video.
The main plot shows a hooded figure running through empty streets. As it plays, seperate windows open projecting Street View and Google Earth images.
The video has been developed using HTML5 and works exclusively with Google's Chrome Browser.
You can watch it here: www.thewildernessdowntown.com. Viewers need to install the Chrome brower.
'We Used To Wait' is taken from Arcade Fire's recent number one album, 'The Suburbs', which incorporates themes of childhood.
